The long road home
July Silverstone
Micheal and his soon to be wife were walking home
But no, no matter what they thought in their minds, they were not alone
Micheal told his girlfriend that his mouth was ugly, his ears crooked, and his nose too big
His girlfriend vomited in the parking lot, probably from a booze cruise, not paying any heed
The moon was his only companion, taking heed to his concerns
Somewhere out in the universe, the waning crescent picked Micheal up, and laid him down under the soft silky sheets of his bed
